Mr. Hanan Ali Abbasi (President)
Hanan Ali Abbasi has become the first ever Pakistani nominee of the ‘Commonwealth Youth Award’ in the field of “Democracy and Human Rights”. This award is intended for only 16 self-initiatives taken by the young individuals around the 54 Commonwealth countries. He has also rendered outstanding services at national level in the arena of social work, literature, broadcasting, youth guidance & development at very early age. He did Masters in Literature and has authored two Urdu books “Zameeni Sitaray” and “Cheen Say Bartania taq”. The Government of Pakistan conferred upon him the National Youth Award-2010 in recognition of his extraordinary services. He also represented Pakistan in UK, China, Hong Kong, and Iran. He has also been invited as a role model by different esteemed universities of the country like International Islamic University, National Defence University, COMSATS University, Islamia College University, MAJU, and Army Public College of Management Sciences, where he delivered lectures on Leadership, Role of Media, and Youth participation in decision making process. Hanan participated in more than 150 national/international Television talk shows and has hosted more than 500 live radio programmes. His book, Zameeni Sitaray was officially provided to the two districts of the country at governmental level. His literary pursuit has received an overwhelming appreciation from prominent Pakistani scholars, writers and authors of the country. He is serving as a federal president of National Youth Assembly which has established its wings in more than 120 Districts of the Country and Hanan Abbasi invests his energies into motivating, resourcing, and equipping young leaders.

Mr. Aamir Atlas Khan (Vice President)
Mr. Aamir Atlas Khan is a Pakistani professional squash player. He is the nephew of former world champion, Jansher Khan. He is currently ranked 15th, his highest ranking, and is the No. 1 Pakistan squash player. Aamir won a silver medal in individual event at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China.

Mr. Ibrahim Shahid (Youth Ambassador)
Ibrahim Shahid belongs to Islamabad who made headlines in national/international media by smashing a world record by getting 23 A grades in GCE O Levels. Ibrahim is a patriotic Pakistani with a crystal clear vision of life, and packed with spirit of serving humanity. He is determined to serving from the platform of the National Youth Assembly.

Ms. Malala Yousafzai (Child Ambassador of NYA)
Malala Yousafzai (born 1998) is an internationally acclaimed Children’s rights activist hailing from Mingora, Swat. Malala Yousafzai is the first Pakistani child who has been nominated for the prestigious International Children Peace Award on Universal children’s day. The nominations were announced by the South African Nobel laureate, Desmund Tutu in 2011. She wrote a diary for the BBC under the pseudonym of “Gul Makai” where she wrote about the hampers she were facing during her educational pursuit innocently.
She is now a part of National Youth Assembly as a Child Ambassador and she is optimistic to do more by using this platform.

Mr. Imran Manzoor (Exective Director)
Mr. Imran Manzoor is the founder & pioneering member of NYA. He is currently working as Director Operations & Director Marketing in one of the leading Media group of Pakistan. After completion his Education from Forbes College London, Imran Manzoor returned to Pakistan to serve the nation in the best possible way. He has also actively participated in launching different project in Pakistan like Micro Finance, Education, Capacity Building, Employment Desk, livelihood, and emergency relief in different districts for betterment of a common man especially the youth. As recognition of his effort he has also been rewarded by many awards and certificates by numerous organizations relating his extensive social work.

Mr.Farhan Rana (Project Director)
Mr.Farhan Rana is a well known young banker. He has achieved distinction in MBA. Apart from Academically outstanding achiever he has also embarked success in banking industry. His pleasant personality has made him the likeable & admirable person among his peers. Farhan played a major role in social activities and development as in 2005.
He was selected as the General Secretary of the Students Economic Forum in 2003. His dedication towards the welfare of youth has been recognized at various occasions. He attends National and International Conferences and Seminars relating to wide range of social and professional subjects. Mr. Rana is serving as “Project Director” in NYA.

Mr. Ammar Shahzad (Federal Secretary)
Mr.Ammar Shahzad is a dynamic speaker, prolific thinker, charismatic youth activist and a young social worker. Currently he is a Student Of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Ammar is academically and professionally disciplined. He worked extensively for the rehabilitation of 2009 and 2010 Flood Victims. During the aftermath of the devastating Floods he organized and arranged fund raising campaigns at the National level and sent a huge supplies of Food,Clothes, Medicines to the affected areas which benefited thousands of survivors. He has the Honor of being the Youth Senator Pakistan – Upper house of NYA, for the last one year in which he strategically managed mega projects like “Iftar ka Sath ” and has represented YSP in various National and International Level Conferences such as Trans-Boundary Water Management Conference. Ammar is serving as Federal Secretary in NYA.

Mr. Muzaffar Hussain (Information Officer)
Mr. Muzaffar Hussain is an Information officer with the National Youth Assembly. He earned his Masters degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management.
